We flew over two train bridges, lots of houses, a school, and lots of train tracks. When we were on the plane it felt weird because I have never been on a plane before. If I had to travel like that back then I wouldn't be traveling that much. Only eleven people could be on the plane. We all got a window seat.

Our plane was built in 1929. Its very old. The only way it can run is if we restore it. It first flew on August 21, 1929. They used this plane to carry people and to explore. I enjoyed my first plane trip very much because this might be the only time I can ride a Ford Tri Motor!

I have to make a corn dish sometime for American History. Also I have to memorize a poem called

Nothing Gold Can Stay.

My bird Haiku

This is my bird Haiku. Yesterday we learned about Japanese Haiku. So we did a bird Haiku. I did an Eagle. This is what it said

Eating his fish now

he soars like the wind always

flying by his nest

Yesterday I learned about the Bering Straight. I have a project that I have to do about woolly mammoths, saber tooth tigers, and sloths. We started to learn about flight. I have a quiz next Friday.

My turtle is the first art project we did in school. I hid my name in the turtles tail. We didn't use color because it is a line drawing. I did dots,lines,flowers and lots of others.
