Our plane was built in 1929. Its very old. The only way it can run is if we restore it. It first flew on August 21, 1929. They used this plane to carry people and to explore. I enjoyed my first plane trip very much because this might be the only time I can ride a Ford Tri Motor!

Field Trip - 1929 Ford Tri Motor
We flew over two train bridges, lots of houses, a school, and lots of train tracks. When we were on the plane it felt weird because I have never been on a plane before. If I had to travel like that back then I wouldn't be traveling that much. Only eleven people could be on the plane. We all got a window seat.

Oh you lucky people! We are so happy that you got to fly, and the old planes are so fun. Just imagine what it was like for Charles Lindberg when he flew The Spirit of St. Louis ( an even older plane) all the way to Paris, France, alone in 1927. Your pics are great!
